Artemis Fowl

I am currently listening to this via PlayAway. Basically, it is a story of a criminal mastermind, and 12 year-old Irish kid, Artemis Fowl. He kidnaps a fairy (elf to be precise), and has all of the Lower Elements Police on his tail. This is the story of Artemis Fowl, a faithful bodyguard named Butler (hehehe!), a vindictive elf named Holly Short, a purple-faced commander named Julius "Beetroot" Root, and a pompous, smart, centaur named Foaly (haha). 5 stars and 4 thumbs up.

The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place

This book is a completely outstanding book as Penelope becomes a governess to 3 young kids who were raised by wolves: Alexander, Beowulf, Cassiopeia (who calls herself "Cassawhoo"). They must become civilized kids by Christmas in order to be able to attend Lady Ashton's Christmas party. Lord Ashton is extremely dismayed by the fact that the Christmas party is on Christmas. He claims that he has "business" that day, but will probably be able to make the party. A good read for ages 1-201
